A New Ally for Your Health Insurance Needs 

At the heart of our business is a passion for Financial Planning and Investment Management. Recently, we’ve seen significant growth, especially as we respond to the evolving needs of our clients. One of those clients inspired us to delve into the complex world of insurance and retirement for churches and non-profits. Initially hesitant, I quickly realized the challenges these organizations face are profound. Navigating retirement options isn’t the main pain point—it’s health insurance that presents the real hurdles. 

Health Insurance: The Real Challenge 

In our discussions with various organizations, it’s become clear that many individuals are struggling not just with saving for retirement, but with affording daily healthcare costs. I have spent time over this past year and designed a comprehensive retirement plan in collaboration with partners like PCS and Goldman Sachs, offering a cost-effective solution with less than 0.9% AUM fees and a straightforward per-employee charge. 

But the pressing issue remains: health insurance is complex, costly, and frustrating. During prospecting meetings, I often start with, “I hate insurance too, but let’s see what we can do!” We heard multiple stories that had the same theme: Many organizations, especially churches, find themselves needing to band together with larger groups for buying power, which can be daunting. That is why we are creating A Church Plan to support churches, non-profits, and their affiliates, a Small Business Plan, helping Universities and Colleges provide solutions to their students, graduates, and Alumni, and a plan for retiring Professional Athletes. 

We are not backing away from the daunting task. We are investing in it. Creating an eco-system to solve complex problems for our clients. We have partnered with large carriers like Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, UHG, and super regional groups, to bring this offering to life. We are hiring a team to grow this practice. We are moving hard and fast into this space, all while building our personal wealth and investment management business. 

We can all hate insurance together, but we can also work with the people and companies who are doing this well currently.

While I can’t announce a magic fix, I can proudly say that Stoneford is now your ally in this space. I am an investment manager and financial planner by trade. The work I do is focus on cash flow and liquid portfolios. That is why, we are going to jump in to help provide solutions. 

We have our largest amount of prospects in the health insurance and retirement plan space. As a result, we are opening up our personal wealth to every single participant.
